The Sandy Springs Insight Meditation Group is for people interested in learning about and practicing Insight (Vipassana) Meditation. We are not a teacher-led group but instead a group of practitioners who meet for group meditations and discussion of our practice. Teachers who practice in the Insight or Vipassana tradition include Sharon Salzburg, Joseph Goldstein, Gil Fronsdal, and Jack Kornfield.

The Georgia Buddhist Vihara is dedicated to the promotion of the Theravada Buddhist teachings through the practice of meditation, study of Buddhist scriptures, dhamma school for children and regular religious ceremonies.
